Bible

We have all experienced difficult situations in our lives. The Coronavirus pandemic is no exception. We may have had to deal with losing a job, getting sick, falling into debt, or experiencing the death of a loved one.

No matter what we’re going through, there are verses in the Bible that can encourage us, inspire us, and lift our spirits. The Word of God has a great way of showing us that we can depend on God at all times and he will give us the courage and strength to overcome even the most difficult circumstances.

The following inspirational Bible verses are about strength, courage, and God’s plan for your life. May these inspirational quotes help you to see the world in a more positive light.

  1. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13, NIV)

No matter what you’re going through, you can be confident that God will give you the strength to withstand anything.

2. “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” (Isaiah 40:31, NIV)

God is an infinite source of strength. Although you may be stressed out, exhausted, and burdened by life’s circumstances, God promises to give you strength. He will strengthen you both physically and spiritually so that you will be able to face and overcome life’s challenges.

3. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)

It doesn’t matter what your current situation is – unemployment, a broken relationship, debt, sickness, etc. – God can help us to overcome life’s hardships. He will bring prosperity to our lives and give us hope for a brighter future.

4. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV)

We as human beings tend to make mistakes and often make the wrong choices. We need to understand that our way of thinking is limited and we need to trust God with our whole heart that he will lead us in the right direction. God sees the whole picture and he knows where we need to go. In time we will see that God works for our good.

5. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6, NIV)

God assures us that he is a constant presence in our lives. We do not have to worry or be afraid of our opponents or enemies because God is with us. He will protect us and give us courage and strength to face and overcome all of life’s challenges and difficulties.
